Post Leaving Cert (PLC)

A Post Leaving Certificate Course (PLC) is a course for anyone over the age of 18 who is looking to further their education, re-skill for the workplace or get another way into College.

We run a full-time Business with Computers Course from September to May each year.

It is open to

• all who have completed the Leaving Certificate year
• Adults (aged 22 years or over) regardless of academic qualifications

Certification is provided by FETAC (Further Education Training Awards Council)

A wide range of modules is taught - strong emphasis on all aspects of Information and Communications Technology

Continuous assessment

Maximum of 20 students - therefore individual attention to individual needs guaranteed

No tuition fees

Higher Education Grants are available from Kildare VEC to those who qualify for them

Social Welfare entitlements are maintained
