Junior cycleThe Junior cycle caters for students from 12 to 15 years. The Junior Cycle terminates with the Junior Certificate Examinations set by the Department of Education and Science after 3 years of post-primary education. We offer a wide range of subjects at Junior Cycle. The list of subjects is as follows: The Junior Certificate is assessed by means of a written examination at the end of the three-year programme, along with practical examinations and project work in some subjects and oral and aural examinations in Irish and continental languages. The practical and oral examinations take place during the third year of the programme. The written examination takes place in June. |

Senior CycleThe Senior Cycle is for Fifth and Sixth Years. We offer the traditional Leaving Certificate Course but we also offer the Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) Course. The Established Leaving Certificate The established Leaving Certificate is a two-year programme, containing a range of distinct subjects. Students normally study six or seven subjects during the Senior Cycle. We offer a wide range of subjects at Senior Cycle. The list of subjects is as follows: Irish Subjects are normally studied at either Ordinary or Higher Level. Two subjects, Irish and Mathematics, can be studied at Foundation Level. |

Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) The Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme follows the same subject choices as the Leaving Cert Established as well as offering the additional subject of LCVP. The programme students to take at least five Leaving Certificate subjects plus the Link Modules, one of which must be Irish. Young people taking the LCVP have a unique opportunity to develop their interpersonal, vocational and technological skills. These skills are equally relevant to the needs of of those preparing for further education, seeking employment or planning to start their own business. |
